Winter Sonata
Let’s start the list with a classic love story. “WInter Sonata” was released in 2002 and tells the story of Joonsang (Bae Yong-joon), a man who saves Yujin (Choi Ji-woo) from an accident during a school trip. Both inevitably end up falling in love, but Joonsang disappears because he is focused on finding his biological father. So Yujin starts to rethink this relationship.
White Christmas
If you like something more intense, check out ‘White Christmas’. In this classic Korean film released in 2011, 7 students and a teacher are trapped in a high school for 8 days, from Christmas to New Year. Threatened with letters without an emissary, they reach a psychiatrist who has arrived on site after a car accident and then realize that there is a murderer among them.
