Paramount has released the poster and the first official trailer of the game adaptation “Dungeons & Dragons”, which has won dubbed and Portuguese subtitled versions. The preview starts out as a generic “Game of Thrones”, but it doesn’t take long to get excited with the presentation of the plot and main characters, highlighting a lot of fighting, great visuals, and a good mood that really seems to work.

The trailer was revealed at Comic-Con International with the cast in person, including Chris Pine (“Wonder Woman”), Michelle Rodriguez (“Fast and Furious”), Sophia Lillis (“It”), Regé-Jean Page (“Bridgerton”) and Hugh Grant (“The Undoing”) at their first ever Comic-Con.

Asked why Grant took on “Dungeons & Dragons”, Rodriguez joked: “I think he thought it was related to S&M,” in reference to the sexual practice of sadomasochism in places known as dungeons (dungeons) with the tools of the ” torture”. . And Grant agreed: “I’ve been a dungeon fan for years … it’s a traditional British sport.”

In the storyline, Pine plays the group’s mentor, who highlights Rodriguez as a super strong warrior, Page as a swordsman full of tricks and Lillis as a powerful shapeshifter, capable of transforming into dangerous creatures. Besides them, there is still a powerful character from Justice Smith (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”). The quintet team up to stop the destruction of the world after helping villains like Grant steal what they needed to carry out their evil plans.

The film is written and directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley. Comedy experts, they directed the remake of “The Holidays”, which was a box office failure, and “Game Night” (2018), one of the funniest comedies of recent years. Additionally, they have written scripts for several blockbusters, including action films such as “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (2017).

See below the two versions of the national trailer of the film, which won the national title of “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Rebels”, exchanging the proverbial reference to honor among thieves from the original English title (Honor Among Thieves) with the word rebels – although Chris Pine’s description in the trailer defines the characters as thieves.
