Cruzeiro will have a busy transfer window this Christmas

Three players have already been confirmed by Raposa and the club is working to find new names to include in the 2025 squad

Cruzeiro has moved a lot in this transfer window in an attempt to strengthen the squad for the 2025 season. Some players have already been officially announced by the club and others are on track to strengthen the celestial team.

So far, Cruzeiro has already signed three players. Last week the club announced midfielder Christian and midfielder Rodriguinho. This Monday (23), it was the turn of the striker Dudu to be confirmed at Cruzeiro, the team that revealed the player to football. Both athletes arrive with contracts valid for three seasons, until the end of 2027.

Other players are very close to strengthening Cruzeiro. According to the club’s CEO, Alexandre Mattos, midfielder Eduardo and striker Bolasie, who will terminate their contracts with Botafogo and Criciúma respectively at the end of this year, are ready to play for the heavenly club. All that remains is to carry out the medical examinations and sign the contracts to make it official.

In addition to the pair, striker Gabriel Barbosa has a deal well underway to play for Cruzeiro. Alexandre Mattos revealed that he has not yet signed any contract with the athlete, but that there is optimism in counting on the former Flamengo player for next season.

Striker Marquinhos, who belongs to Arsenal and played this season on loan at Fluminense, is in ongoing negotiations with Cruzeiro. The 21-year-old athlete had the support of Fernando Diniz, who worked with the player in the first half of this year at the Rio club. The information was initially spread by journalist Heverton Guimarães and confirmed by other vehicles.

Cruzeiro is still attentive to the market and is looking for a starting defender. In an interview with Rádio Itatiaia last Monday (23), Pedro Lourenço, coach of SAF, said that he will bring a defender to arrive and wear the shirt. Furthermore, he said he was open to the possible arrival of Sergio Ramos for this role, while underlining that there are no ongoing negotiations yet.
