The singer’s habits would be the result of a disorder that worsened during the pandemic
In an interview with Kaká Meyer on KakáPod, event entrepreneur and marketing specialist Carolina Nunes commented on her experience behind the scenes at a Roberto Carlos show.
He led part of the team for the singer’s performance in Santos, on the coast of Sao Paulo, in front of 3,000 people. She said she was surprised by how few food and drink requirements there were.
“The dressing room list was very simple. It was a biscuit, coffee, water, some very simple things,” he said. Roberto Carlos takes the plates, glasses and cutlery he will use.
“Now, the structural part was the operating room,” Carolina said. “He goes to his bathroom.” The artist’s production involves the transport and installation of the portable chemical vessel.
This concern for personal hygiene may have to do with his obsession with cleanliness, a consequence of OCD.
In April 2021, the singer commented in ‘O Globo’ that care “has become more rigorous” during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially washing your hands several times during the day.
Carolina Nunes also reported the decision regarding the white and red roses traditionally offered by the ‘king’ to fans at the end of each show.
“You have to cut the stem (of everyone) in the same way, it cannot have 1 centimeter more or less,” he explained. Plugs must be removed. “All (the flowers) are open, and if there are injured leaves, you have to remove them.”
The businesswoman highlighted another restriction regarding Roberto Carlos. “I couldn’t even stand in front of him in that dress,” she said, referring to the color brown, which the idol shuns.
On the day of the show, all production members present at the event in Santos wore blue uniforms, the favorite shade of the superstitious music idol.
