Shooting causes two deaths and a child injured in Porto Alegre


The injured, a 20-year-old man and a five-year-old boy, were taken in serious condition to the Hospital de Pronto Socorro (HPS) in Porto Alegre.

On Wednesday night (25), a shooting attack resulted in the death of two young people and the wounding of two other people, including a five-year-old child. The accident occurred around 9.30pm, in Rua Ursa Maior, in the Cristal district, south of Porto Alegre.




Witnesses reported that a black car drove by the scene and fired several shots. The fatal victims were identified as Willian Valença, 22, and Liedson Lemos Padilha, 21, who were rescued and taken to Postão da Cruzeiro, but did not survive their injuries.

The Military Brigade isolated the area and the Civil Police started investigations on the spot. Experts from the General Institute of Expertise were also called in to collect evidence that could help clarify the case.
