In addition to earning up to two minimum wages and having worked at least 30 days in the base pay year, you must meet some requirements




This Friday, the 27th, is the regular deadline to withdraw the 2024 PIS/Pasep salary bonus. The payment calendar started in February this year, based on the worker’s date of birth, with the deadline for withdrawal being the same as everyone.

The bonus is a benefit intended for those who earn on average up to two minimum wages per month and who have worked for at least 30 days in the base year (in the case of 2024 it refers to the year 2022). which can reach up to a minimum wage, falls directly into the accounts of members of the Caixa (in the case of the PIS) and the Banco do Brasil (in the case of the Pasep).

However, if the amount cannot be transferred to an existing account, the employee will have to withdraw it.

Who is entitled to the PIS/Pasep bonus?

In addition to earning up to two minimum wages and having worked at least 30 days in the base payment year, the MTE specifies that you must meet certain requirements to be eligible for the wage bonus. Check:

  • Be enrolled in the PIS/PASEP program or the CNIS (date of first employment) for at least five years;
  • Have worked for employers who contribute to the Social Integration Program (PIS) or the Public Employees’ Asset Training Program (PASEP);
  • Have received up to 2 (two) average minimum wages of the monthly salary during the period worked;
  • Having carried out paid work for at least 30 days, consecutive or otherwise, in the base year considered for the calculation;
  • Have your details correctly reported by your employer (legal entity/government) in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS) or eSocial for the base year considered for the calculation.

How to withdraw after the deadline?

The unrevoked benefit remains available for up to five years, but to revoke it it is necessary to submit an administrative appeal to the Ministry of Labor and Employment. The worker can search for a physical MTE service point where he lives. You can find the addresses on the MTE website.

As specified by AgĂȘncia Brasil, there is also the possibility of contacting the department via email, through the address trabalho.UF@economia.gov.br, and the letters UF (federal unit) must be replaced by the acronym of the state in where the worker is located.
