A few days before the end of 2024, it’s time for celebration and appreciation! While promoting French sci-fi film Planète B, starring Adele Exarchopoulos and Souheila Yacoub, we asked the two actors to comment on the successes they’ve both been involved in this year.
Adele Exarchopoulos is in the credits of two big hits of the year: L’amour ouf with its 4.76 million participation (ie 5th place at the box office of 2024 and the third most watched French film of the year).
But also vice versa 2! The actor lends his voice to VF and VO. The Pixar animated feature recorded 8.42 million viewers, its No. 3 success of the year. This sequel is much better than the first film (4.54 million Vice Versa 1 in 2015).
As for Suheila Yakub, the year has been very rich and varied, between the comedy Making of, the horror comedy Women on the Balcony, Planet B Currently showing and finally Dune 2! Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi film received a total of 4.2 million admissions (or 7th place at the French box office in 2024).
Note that as Vice Versa pointed out above, this sequel also did better than the first film: Dune 1 recorded a million fewer admissions, or 3.1 million admissions.

Suheila Yaqub has strong memories of receiving Dune 2: “I was touched more than the society! There was little risk that it wouldn’t work. This is an American blockbuster.
It was already the first one, and based on the cast, I had no doubt that they would see it. I was more shocked by the adventure I experienced. I did not understand! I was amazed by all this.“
