Ingrid Martins makes her debut this Monday of the season at the WTA in Auckland


The tournament will be Ingrid’s first of the season. She and American Jesse Aney face a pair of Stephens and Danish Tauson around 10:30 p.m.




IngridMartins, an athlete sponsored by ENGIE, Banco BRB, CBT and Slyce, makes her debut on Monday evening, the 30th, at the WTA 250 in Auckland, New Zealand, a hard court event with a prize pool of $275,000.

The competition will be the first of the new 2025 season. Ingrid and American Jesse Aney will face the pair of American Sloane Stephens and Danish Clara Tauson at around 10.30pm in the second match on Court 2.

“I’m debuting against two very good singles players, so let’s pay attention and play our game, moving forward. Think about ours and try. I’m excited to start competing again,” said the YES Tennis athlete coached by coach Fabiano de Paula and physical trainer Haroldo Santana.

The competition is the first of the Australian tour, which will feature the WTA 250 in Hobart, Australia, in the week of January 6, alongside Britain’s Emily Appleton, and the Australian Open starting on January 12 in Melbourne. She will play the Grand Slam together with Romanian Irina Begu.
