A sad record for this flagship TF1 series, which disappeared from TV screens in 2024

Since its launch in 1997, Josephine, Guardian Angel remains one of TF1’s undisputed assets. The series, hosted by Mimi Mathieu, is one of the oldest French television dramas.

And if every year there is a habit of offering many new episodes on the front page, this year 2024 was a turning point that will not please early fans.

Josephine’s Guardian Angel is off the grid in 2024

As the year draws to a close, it’s time to take stock, especially for Josephine, the Guardian Angel. And 2024 marked the first for the series, as noted by X (formerly of Twitter) Clément Garin.

For the first time since its inception in 2024, there was no new episode. The latest new episode titled “sing your life” was actually broadcast on TF1 on December 25, 2023.

And since then, except for a few programs, especially on December 23, the series has disappeared from the screens. But don’t worry, Josephine’s guardian angel is due to return in 2025.

Unpublished material is now ready for transmission

Fans of the character played by Mimi Matt can rest assured that this lack of programming in 2024 does not mean the end of the series. In fact, two new episodes were filmed and they were even broadcast in Belgium.

The first Mimi will allow Matt opposite Jennifer Loretta, while the second will see him face Bruno Debrandt, Shirley Busquet and Jeremy Banster.

And that’s not all: another opus is currently being filmed, and the fourth one will be filmed next spring at the Beauval Zoo. Therefore, TF1 has four broadcasting evenings left. Therefore, Josephine’s guardian angel still has good days ahead of her and should definitely return this year 2025.

Meanwhile, the most nostalgic will be able to immerse themselves in the adventures of Josephine’s Guardian Angel, as the series is fully available on the TF1+ platform.
