Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Thursday January 2, 2024 Episode Summary [SPOILERS]

Thursday January 2nd at Un si grand soleil…

Louis plays the protective son

Louis takes great care of his mother, Leonore. The latter promises her that everything is fine, despite the fact that she is leaving her husband. Louis is relieved to see her smile, then reminds her that he will always be there for her and that she loves him.

After a day at work, Mark comes home with a surprise for his son: he bought his favorite dishes for dinner. Louis confides in his father that he doesn’t need to put in all the effort, especially since he doesn’t blame him for what’s happening with his mother.

Mark calms down and takes the opportunity to ask his son how his t-shirt startup is going. Louis shows him the new models that will be on sale soon. Mark is proud of his son.

Catherine enjoys her victory

In turn, Allen calls Elizabeth to propose a lunch for two, but she has to decline because of a meeting with Catherine. He takes the opportunity to tell his husband that he cannot forget this woman.

A few hours later, Elizabeth tells Catherine that she is going to use her company’s cash flow and that she will have to go without a variable part of her salary for at least three years. Catherine, seeing clearly in Elizabeth’s game, replies: “I’m here for a little while longer.”

After settling these accounts, Elizabeth checks on Boris and Muriel. He takes the opportunity to look at the young man for the simple reason that he is Catherine’s son. When left alone with Elizabeth, Muriel advises her to ease the tension, but Elizabeth does not want to hear anything and replies: “I lead this group as I see fit.”

At the end of the day, Catherine tells Boris that she is very happy to see Elizabeth in this condition. The young man asks his mother to bury the hatchet, but she refuses: “No one should tell me how to deal with Bastide and especially not you this woman killed your father, there will never be a bullet in the center.”

Virgil is back

In turn, Alix tells Nicholas about Elena’s threats. She is very worried about him and offers to come and stay for a few days. He states: “I don’t want anything to happen to you.”But Alix seems to take the matter too lightly.

Meanwhile, Mark forces Marie-Sophie to listen to an interview with Tom and Maeve. He is stunned by the revelations of the young couple, but does not have enough material to write a paper. So the editor-in-chief gives him the green light to investigate: “You put everything else on hold and work on it.”

At the police station, Alice informs Tice that she got a call from a reporter about a complaint filed by Tommy and Maeve. She suspects her colleague of spilling the beans. The intern has no choice but to admit the truth: he informed Tom and Maeve that the investigation was closed.

Ellis is angry with his colleague and reminds him that he must respect professional secrecy: “I know this case is about you, but when you go to the police it’s a serious mistake, you’re a trainee and you could be fired overnight.”

Later, Mark calls the director of the anti-abortion association to clarify the matter. He takes the opportunity to inform this man that he knows about a hack into the hospital’s computer system.

The director of the association hangs up the phone and begins to panic. He starts yelling at the person who hacked the system: “Do you know what would happen if the cops came to us and went through our stuff?”

In the evening, alone in front of the computer, Alix hears a noise from the room. He takes the scissors and takes small steps forward. Suddenly a person appears behind him. This is Virgil.
