Marvel published the first theses of “I Am Groot”, a series about the character Groot, from “Guardians of the Galaxy”.
The series consists of five short films starring the hero in his Baby Groot phase, facing other new and unusual characters. As in the movies, Groot’s voice is provided by Vin Diesel, with a very computerized treatment, and director James Gunn is in charge of production.
The character will be seen again this year in a Christmas special scheduled for December on Disney +, before appearing in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, which will be released in April 2023.
“I Am Groot” will debut on Disney + on August 10th.
