The current champion of the country’s grassroots tournament seeks to maintain a positive record in his debut in the competition
Corinthians debuts in cup this Saturday, at 9.30pm, against Gazin Porto Velho-RO. The teams compete at the Bruno José Daniel stadium, in Santo André, the base of Group 27, which also includes Santo André and Rio Banco-AC.
The Corinthians team is the biggest winner of the Copa São Paulo, with 11 titles. The last one was in the most recent edition, in 2024. There are also eight runners-up, for a total of 19 finals with Corinthians present.
The team led by Orlando Ribeiro has been preparing for the tournament since November. The club has an astonishing record in its favor over the last ten starts. There are nine wins and one draw.
