The seventh day mass in memory of the actor Ney Latorracacelebrated this Monday (6) at the Church of Nossa Senhora da Paz, in Ipanema, southern area of ​​Rio de Janeiro, was marked by moments of great emotion. Among those present, the artist’s widower, Ed Botelho66 years old, he attracted attention for his fragility in the face of the loss of his partner of almost three decades.

Very shaken, Edi was supported by friends and family throughout the ceremony. Photos captured at the scene show the actor hugged and comforted as he said his goodbyes of the one who was her great love for 29 years. Ney Latorracahe died on December 26 last year, aged 80due to pulmonary sepsis, resulting from metastasis of prostate cancer. Although he had successfully undergone prostate removal surgery years ago, the cancer returned in August 2024, already in an advanced stage. Ney had been hospitalized since December 20 at the Clínica São Vicente, in Gávea, where his condition had worsened.
