Friday January 10th in a more beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Eric asks for Bahram’s hand in marriage
At the Flower Pavilion, Eric informs Blanche that he absolutely wants to continue defending Bahram’s case. Unfortunately, Blanche tells her that the undocumented migrant has left. He left a letter for them before he left. The last words addressed to Eric: “I was lucky to cross the road.”
Afterwards, Eric meets Bahram near Mistral. The latter is about to leave the city and says to his friend: “I want to try my luck elsewhere, bye Eric.” In response, Eric makes an incredible request: “Will you marry me?”
Jean-Paul is getting nervous
On the other hand, Jean-Paul (Stephane Hannon) and Lea are preparing to celebrate Lucy’s birthday. Leah helps her husband find gifts on the teenager’s list, but the mission will be difficult. And for good reason, most of them could not be found.
As the couple finishes their final preparations, the front door opens. This is Lucy, who finished her lessons much earlier than expected. The teenager enters the living room and finds a surprise prepared by Jean-Paul and Lea. He says to them: “Thanks, but I’m not nine anymore.”
Jean-Paul is irritated and disturbed by Lucy’s casual attitude. He apologizes to his wife, but Leah reminds him of something important: “I don’t want my cancer to change anything, life is a struggle.”. Then they hug each other tightly.
Morgan joins Vadim’s investigation
On the second day of his illness, which could have been fatal, Vadim wakes up in a hospital bed in Marseille. Morgan, who is at her bedside, informs her that her blood test has revealed the presence of ketamine. Vadim (Leo Mazo) replies that an individual injected him with the substance without his knowledge.
On her way out of the hospital, Morgan bumps into her boyfriend, who has come to check on Vadim. She informs him that she has overdosed. Jules suspects that his friend is hiding something important. He thinks that Vadim is involved in animal trafficking. At the same time, we discover Vadim’s “friend” hiding around the hospital.
After being released from the hospital, Vadim is called to the police station for a brief interrogation with Morgan and Ariane. Two investigators suspect him of buying the snake, and Vadim confesses: “This is the snake I came to find.”
Later, Ariane asks Patrick if Morgan can be integrated into the ongoing investigation. The latter accepts this request. Morgan is glad we trust him.
A few minutes later, the two women go to a grocery store run by the man who sold the snake to Vadim. They enter the room, but no one is seen. Suddenly, they find several animals in cages, including reptiles.
That’s not all, the man they are looking for is lying on the ground. A snake has just bitten him to death in the neck. Ariane and Morgan are horrified…
