Ibovespa closed slightly higher in a session with modest fluctuations this Thursday in the absence of North American stock markets, while shares of the airline Azul recorded a positive signal, in the wake of news of a possible merger with rival Gol.
The reference index of the Brazilian stock exchange, Ibovespa, rose by 0.24%, to 119,915.5 points, according to preliminary data, after marking 120,145.30 at the high and 119,501.97 at the low of the session.
The financial volume amounts to 11.8 billion reais before final adjustments.
