Coritiba hosts Londrina in Paranaense’s debut

Coxa debuts in the competition with the Under 20 team

Coritiba will take the field with practically an entire team made up of under 20 athletes at the debut of the Campeonato Paranaense, against Londrina, this Sunday (12th), at 4pm, at the Couto Pereira.

The team was divided into two groups while preparing for this year’s State Championship. The younger players remained in Curitiba, completing their pre-season at CT da Graciosa under the direction of Moisés Moura, who will be on the bench on Sunday. The main group traveled to Itu, where they stayed for a week, and will debut only in the subsequent rounds. The team playing this Sunday will be made up mostly of youth players, with the exception of goalkeeper Gabriel Leite, who is a veteran.

Coxa tries to maintain a taboo in Couto Pereira

Londrina tries to break a seven-year winless streak against Coritiba in Couto Pereira. The last time Tubarão beat Alviverde at the Alto da Glória was in 2018, in the B series of the Brazilian championship. Since then, Coxa has recorded two wins and three draws.

Under the command of Claudinei Oliveira, Londrina retained just six players from the team that competed in Série D in 2024 and hired reinforcements to strengthen the team for this season.
