Walking Dead: The most hated child of the series has changed a lot!

As The Walking Dead quickly approaches its end — the final 8 episodes of the series will indeed air starting October 2nd on AMC — all kinds of reflections and flashbacks are inevitable.

Which characters might surprise and return in this final stretch? What would Glenn think of Negan and Maggie’s new partnership? Will the survivors discover that Rick is still alive somewhere?

As always, when a long time has passed since the birth of the series, as is the case with The Walking Dead, the passage of time has affected the characters, the level of the story, but also the physical appearance of the evolution. Those who embody them attract attention. And especially among young people, whose evolution is always surprising.

Not many are alive anymore, but over the 11 seasons of the zombie series, we’ve met quite a few kids who have had the misfortune of growing up in the apocalypse and, in Judith’s case, playing small. Few actors, in other cases like Carl’s case, we were able to witness the physical changes that Chandler Riggs went through as he grew from a child to a teenager. Others, like Lizzie (Bryton Sharbino) and Micah (Kyla Kennedy), didn’t last long on the show, but today we see how much the cast has grown.

And that’s exactly what we did with Sam Anderson, a character who didn’t have a fundamental role in the series, but still became one of the most hated by viewers.

Sam Anderson as Major Dodson never had a say and had little to do in the series’ plot: he only appeared in 10 episodes between the fifth and sixth seasons. However, it was enough for the little survivor to consistently appear at the top of Ranker’s list of the most hated The Walking Dead characters, with the most votes from readers.

For those who don’t remember him, Sam was one of the residents of the Alexandria safe zone with his parents and brother, and because of the situation at home, he tried to get closer to Carol (Melissa McBride), with whom he had developed a relationship. A more or less close relationship.

His terrible fear of zombies eventually led to the death of him and his loved ones, but netizens did not regret it too much, as fans from the beginning found the little boy annoying and selfish and took to social media to report it.

Major Dodson was about 12 years old when he appeared on the show. He is now 19 years old and has obviously changed a lot as you can see below.

And what happened after he left the show? The actor continues to play small roles in various series and films, and the Walking Dead remains his most important work.

In addition, an interpreter with autism spectrum disorder performs a remarkable and essential mission regarding the visibility and normalization of autistic people. A reality that, as he said in interviews, gave him strength and allowed him to become a better actor.

Major Dodson, for example, starred in Kim Bass’ Tyson’s Run, released earlier this year, about a young man with autism and average athletic ability who nevertheless decides to become a full-fledged marathon runner. He gives a wonderful performance there, which proves that the actor has not yet spoken his last word.

While the first episodes of The Walking Dead’s 11th and final season are now available on Netflix, meanwhile the final installment The trailer for which has just been released below -, Will be available in October on OCS.
