It has become common for fans to wait several years between each season of the series. Fortunately, this was not the case for solo leveling! Adapted from the famous webtoon, the series debuted in January 2024 and met with great success among subscribers of the Crunchyroll platform.

The series also has an excellent score of 4.3 out of 5 on the AlloCiné profile, among 276 viewer ratings recorded. It all bodes well for season 2 of the show, which will air from January 2025 – less than a year after the first season ended its broadcast!

As a reminder, Solo Leveling is an adaptation of the South Korean comic of the same name (published in France by Delcourt). In a world like ours, strange portals open to worlds inhabited by monsters. Hunters with supernatural powers are classified according to their level of power.

An ultra-violent series that is a hit despite everything!

A member of the weakest unit, Sung Jinwoo takes part in a dangerous quest that destroys almost his entire group. Seriously injured himself, this young man discovers that he is a unique player who can gain experience to increase his power. This power will allow him to face powerful enemies, but also attract the attention of various hunter guilds.

Solo Leveling is a series that combines elements of video games and especially RPG. The program is particularly notable for its scenes of extreme violence and is therefore intended for mature and informed audiences. However, this aspect did not prevent the anime from being among the biggest hits of 2024 on Crunchyroll.

Season 2 will pit Sung Jinwoo against new, even stronger enemies. The latter will also have the opportunity to discover new powers, promising anime fans an even more epic battle than the first season!
