This Wednesday (15), Sport announced the purchase of the right back, Matheus Alexandre, 25 years old, ex Cuiabá.
In an official note, the club announces that it has acquired, by mutual agreement, 70% of the athlete’s economic rights and a contract valid until December 2028.
Cuiabá also released a statement, saying the transaction was concluded worth $1.5 million (9 million reais).
The athlete underwent medical examinations this Tuesday morning (14th), and no adversities were found during the procedure. The athlete is already integrated into Leão’s squad.
Matheus Alexandre, in addition to Cuiabá, played in clubs such as Ponte Preta and Corinthians.
Matheus becomes Sport’s fifth reinforcement of the season.
