What is the story of Here?

The novelty is based on graphic novel namesake of Richard McGuire and tells a story that takes place in a single location across the centuries. During the 104 minutes of film, the camera is fixed in one spot, never moving, and viewers are introduced to the lives of everyone who has passed through that location.

“The single perspective never changes, but everything around it changes. In fact, this has never been done before. There are similar scenes in early silent films, before the invention of the language of montage. But other than that, yes, it was a risky venture”the director explained to Vanity Fair.

In addition to Hanks and Wrightwho play the protagonist couple of the novelty, Here still has Paul Bettany (WandaVision), Kelly Reilly (Pride & Prejudice), Ophelia Lovibond (Guardians of the Galaxy), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Nikki Amura-Bird (Jupiter Fate), Jonathan Aris (The End of the F***ing World) and David Fynn (The Mauritanian), between others.
