The “Star Trek” franchise features one of the most unlikely crossovers of its series. The worthy crew of the USS Enterprise will meet the unworthy crew of the USS Cerritos. And if that were easy to do in the animated series “Star Trek: Lower Decks”, the producers option is to show the encounter in the second season of the live-action series “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”.
And there is more. Apparently, the “Lower Decks” characters will continue to be excited to interact with the “Strange New Worlds” actors.
According to the announcement made at San Diego Comic-Con International, Ensign Beckett Mariner (voiced by Tawny Newsome) and Ensign Brad Boimler (voiced by Jack Quaid) will join the USS Enterprise in a special episode directed by Jonathan Frakes. The star of: The Next Generation “became director of the series.
