Marvel Studios took advantage of Comic-Con International, in San Diego, to announce the debut of six Phase 5 films, set to hit theaters starting February 2023, and three more Phase 6 titles, with the right to two films. of Avengers screened in May and November 2025. But the release schedule revelations weren’t complete.
The Exhibitor Relations website, which follows the exhibition market, revealed that the studio has reserved six more dates for mystery films: two in 2025 – the first in January and the second in July, in a version that falls strategically between “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty”. and “Avengers: Secret Wars” -, and the last four in 2026, after the period called “The Age of the Multiverse” (phases 4, 5 and 6).
Two of these films are expected to be the sequels “Shang Chi 2” and “Doctor Strange 3”. There is also “Deadpool 3” in the works and many rumors about an “X-Men” reboot, which could have Taron Egerton as Wolverine. But only Kevin Feige, the head of the studio, knows for sure that the premiere dictates what will happen after “Secret Wars”.
Fans, however, shouldn’t have to wait too long to find out what these “untitled” films are.
The theory is that Feige did not reveal these previews at Comic-Con to save surprises and make loud new announcements at D23 Expo, the Disney convention, which takes place in September at Disneyland, in the city of Anaheim, California.
The full list of previews must be confirmed at this event.
Have you already filled up? I didn’t think so.
