Only one month left until we return to Yellowstone! Rated 4.3 out of 5, this derivative series is back soon

It was only a few weeks ago that we discovered the last episode of Yellowstone. But the end of the series does not mean the end of the western franchise, quite the opposite! A number of spin-off projects have been announced, including a Rip and Beth-centered spin-off and sequel titled The Madison, as well as a 1944 prequel.

But until then, Yellowstone fans will be able to find the 1923 series very soon when its second season airs. This prequel features the legendary Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, but also Brandon Sclenar as Spencer Dutton – grandfather of John Dutton (Kevin Costner).

From the last days?

The first season introduced us to Jacob Dutton (Ford), the elderly owner of the family ranch. He survived the bloody attack, which seriously injured and claimed the life of his nephew John.

Thus, his only hope rests with his eventual direct heir, his nephew Spencer. But he left Montana to become a game hunter in Africa. Alerted by her aunt Kara (Helen Mirren), the latter embarks on a long journey that will allow her to return to the lands of Yellowstone to protect her family’s fortune.

This new season marks the big return of Yellowstone’s nemesis, former James Bond Timothy Dalton, as wealthy industrialist Donald Whitfield and his sidekick Banner Creighton (played by Jerome Flynn). Deputy Marshal Mamie Fawcett, played by Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter), will also make her big debut in Season 2.

Season 2 of 1923 premieres February 23 exclusively on Paramount+.
