The film starring Tom Cruise hits Brazilian cinemas on May 22nd

A spectator who has been to a screening of Mission: Impossible 8 claimed he “almost had a heart attack” while watching an action scene, the film’s director said Christopher McQuarriewho was present at the session.

In an interview with the magazine Empire (via NME), McQuarrie commented on the public reaction after the session. According to the filmmaker, he overheard an audience member saying he nearly suffered a heart attack while watching an intense action scene.

“We had a little screening, and someone said, ‘I was choking the whole sequence. I almost had a heart attack.’ And I thought, ‘I think we did something right,'” he said. McQuarrie to the magazine.
