‘I think there are three possibilities’: This iconic Squid Game actor imagines what Season 3 will look like

Please note, the following returns to the plot of the Season 2 finale of Squid Game, which is now available on Netflix. If you haven’t seen it yet and don’t want to know anything about its content, I suggest you stop reading this article now.

He is one of the most iconic actors of Squid Game, but for season 3, Lee Seo-hwan will be a mere spectator again. The latter lent his features to Jung-bae, the childhood friend of the hero Gi-hoon (Lee Jung-jae) in the first two seasons of the program. In Season 2, he also appeared as player number 390 in a new installment of the Squid Game.

But everything ended badly for that. Led by Gi-hoon, the players in favor of abandoning the game took up arms in an attempt to control the island. But their resistance movement is thwarted after being betrayed by Player 001 – who is none other than the Masked Man (Lee Byun-hoon)!

Season 2 ends with Jung-bae dying in front of Gi-hoon. This is a real twist in the plot and many are wondering what state of mind the latter will return to in the third season of Squid Game, which will also be the last.

The third possibility is also the darkest

in the given interview Radio TimesLee Seo-hwan talked about his theories about Season 3, which he knows nothing about because he didn’t participate in its filming. According to the 51-year-old actor, the plot can now proceed in three different ways:

I don’t know anything about a third season, but as just a fan of the show, I think there are three possibilities. The first is that Gi-hoon loses all hope, and the second is that it strengthens his desire for revenge. But a third possibility is that he now wants to attack other players rather than the people who make the games.

This would be the last option for Lee Seo-Hwan “A Real Heartbreaker”But unfortunately it remains reliable. Many fans fear that the series will end with another twist that will see Gi-hoon join the army of pink soldiers. After all, the masked man – whose real name is Hwang In-ho – is also a former Games winner.

Season 3 of Squid Game will premiere later this year exclusively on Netflix.
