Lexaknown for its lively presence at Carnival as Unidos da Tijuca drum queenhas announced that he will not participate in the 2025 fashion show. At 29 years old, the artist is expecting his first daughter, Sofia, the result of his relationship with Ricardo Vianna.
“When we become mothers, everything becomes new! I praise God for the gift of life, for making me Sofia’s mother and now… this is my biggest goal,” she said on social media, this Tuesday (21).

Lexa explained that the decision was made after a series of health assessments and conversations with her team, and despite her love for Carnival, the priority right now is her daughter’s safety and well-being. She highlighted the importance of the choices and sacrifices that motherhood entails, stressing that her biggest priority now is her daughter’s development.
“After much conversation and consideration, due to my health, I would like to announce my withdrawal from this year’s parade as Unidos da Tijuca drum queen. A mother’s life begins with choices and sacrifices, and today my biggest priority is my daughter,” Lexa began.
THE Pregnancy is a time of great physical and emotional changes in a woman’s life.. Therefore, Lexa, reflecting on her new journey as a mother, chose to distance herself from the physical demands of the Carnival parade.
