Apple TV + has released the poster and trailer for the third and final season of post-apocalyptic science fiction “See”, starring Jason Momoa (Aquaman), which highlights epic and explosive battles for control of a world prone to blindness.

In the absence of the villain played by Dave Bautista, the plot follows the discovery, by one of his men, of the ability to build explosives, exploring the reintroduction of bombs after 500 years, in a society that had already forgotten what the war of total destruction meant …

The series was created by British screenwriter Steven Knight (creator of “Peaky Blinders”) and takes place several years into the future, when the entire population of the planet will have gotten used to living with blindness. However, this balance is broken when the protagonist’s children are born with normal eyesight and begin to be challenged as weapons capable of guaranteeing world domination.

The cast also includes Alfre Woodard (“Luke Cage”), Hera Hilmar (“Mortal Engines”), Sylvia Hoeks (“Blade Runner 2049”), Christian Carmago (“Dexter”), Archie Madekwe (“Midsommar”), Nesta Cooper (“Travelers”), Yadira Guevara-Prip (“Supernatural”), Eden Epstein (“Sweetbitter”), Tom Mison (“Sleepy Hollow”), Hoon Lee (“Warrior”), Olivia Cheng (“Warrior”), David Hewlett (“The Shape of Water”) and Tamara Tunie (“Flight”).

The third season will premiere on August 26, exactly one year after the premiere of the previous season.
