Toyota’s medium SUV continues to be attractive to PCDs with tax exemptions and bonuses in the XR version
The website Automotive world for PCD brings exclusive information about the 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross, prices of which were adjusted earlier this year. The XR and XRE versions remain eligible for the IPI exemption, as well as significant bonuses in the entry-level version, keeping the SUV competitive in the segment.
In the XR version, the retail price went from R$ 168,490 to R$ 170,690, an increase of R$ 2,200. XRE, the intermediary, had a smaller adjustment of R$500, going from R$183,490 to R$183,990. Both values refer to the Polar White color, traditional for the model.
For the PCD public, the appropriate values take into account the tax exemptions and the bonus offered. The XR version now costs R$129,262.83, while the XRE is priced at R$169,920.58. The XR model stands out for the 18% bonus applied to the value, which makes it an even more advantageous option. Compared to the previous year, the Corolla Cross XR for PCD cost R $ 127,596.79, while the XRE cost R $ 169,458.52.
The XR version comes with features such as automatic digital climate control, rear air vents, LED headlights with automatic illumination and an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold. It also offers a multimedia center compatible with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and 17-inch wheels.
The XRE includes 18-inch wheels, paddle shifter, leather seats, 12.3-inch digital panel, rain sensor, ambient lighting and induction cell phone charger. Both models are equipped with Toyota Safety Sense, which includes adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, automatic emergency braking and lane keeping assist. Traction control, stability and 7 airbags complete the safety package.
On the mechanical side, the SUV is equipped with a 2.0 naturally aspirated flex engine, which delivers up to 175 horsepower and 21.3 kgfm of torque, combined with a CVT transmission that simulates 10 gears.
Finally, new price adjustments for the Corolla Cross XR are expected for the months of March and April. The retail price is expected to reach R$ 179,190, while the PCD value will rise to R$ 136,290. However, vehicles ordered in December will still be billed at current prices in February.
