After a month of vacation, the athletes returned in the morning of their Monday. The first day was lightly driven, full of meetings and smiles. Additionally, a meeting was held between staff and players to align strategic planning and set goals for the season.

The club underlined that so far the Red-Blacks have three highly relevant competitions in the calendar: the Brasileirão A1 series, the Brazilian Cup and the Pernambuco championship. The lionesses’ official debut in the season is scheduled for the second half of March at Brasileirão. However, the table has not yet been released by the CBF.

The presentation also featured testimonials from women’s soccer coordinator Janira Ricardo and coach Regiane Santos.

“We will have a very challenging year, we are all aware of this, but we will not fail to work towards the pursuit of our objectives set for our season. We have full faith in the athletes and in the commission, in which year after year they grow and make sport even more protagonist in the women’s football scenario,” said Janira Ricardo.

The technique of Regiane Santos, on the other hand, shared her motivation for another year in front of the lionesses: “I begin my fourth season in front of the sport with the greatest joy and motivation. I am very proud to see where this group, who started the trajectory With me three years, he arrived.

Finally, the sport highlighted that this first week of activity will be dedicated to medical and physical assessments. These steps aim to parameterize the conditions of each athlete, allowing the technical committee to develop an individualized and efficient plan, so that, as soon as possible, everyone is at the same level of preparation.

The island’s lionesses enter 2025 with focus and determination, ready to face challenges and represent the claw sport on the national stage.
