Roberto Carlos has revealed the dream that he can only realize in another dimension

A spiritualist thanks to his father’s influence, the singer cultivates the hope of rediscovering the great love that death took away from him

Owner of a billion-dollar fortune, Roberto Carlos can buy whatever he wants. But not everything is for sale. Especially when it comes to feelings. Years ago, in an interview with the late Gloria Maria, the singer made a surprising confession.

“Do you have any dreams to realize?” asked the journalist. “I have a dream to realize, yes. But it is not in this dimension that we live, which is the 3rd dimension,” he said. “My dream will only come true in the other dimension, which is the dimension where Maria Rita is.”

The journalist was impressed by the response. “This is my big dream. A dream that can only be realized in this way.”

According to scientists, the third dimension corresponds to space, to this material world in which we currently live. For spiritualists, the 4th dimension embodies the spiritual part of the human soul. It would be the home of evolved discarnate people or those in an advanced process of evolution.

At a press conference in the early 2000s, the “King” opened his heart and spoke about how much he misses his wife. “I will never get over his physical absence, but I am learning to live with it.”

“Do you think you will feel (love for Maria Rita) forever?” asked Gloria Maria. “Of course, I also wrote a song called Pra Semper.”

The song is part of the album of the same name released at the end of 2003, dedicated to the memory of Maria Rita. She died in December 1999, aged 38, from complications of uterine cancer. She lived next door to Roberto Carlos for 8 years.

“No matter what happens / Nothing will change / I know our love will always be greater,” says the lyrics of the composition. “Someday, somewhere / It’s our souls that love each other and will love each other / Forever,” the idol sings. “For centuries, millennia / Dimensions, everywhere / We belong to each other / And so it will always be.”

A practicing Catholic, the singer has sought to improve his spirituality. He grew up inspired by his father Robertino, who followed the doctrine codified by the French doctor Allan Kardec. The ‘King’ was a few times with the medium Chico Xavier (2010-2002), the greatest Brazilian reference of Spiritism.
