Fans of high-voltage thrillers are in for a treat with a new Apple TV+ series that just landed. Created by Steve Thompson (Sherlock, The Doctor, Jericho), this fiction series combines a manhunt, investigation with puzzles and mathematics in 8 episodes.
Titled Prime Target, this series follows the story of brilliant math researcher Edward Brooks, who is about to make a major discovery. If he succeeds in deciphering the prime numbers, he will hold the keys to computers all over the world.
He quickly realized that an invisible enemy is trying to prevent his idea. Then he crossed paths with Taylah Sanders, an NSA agent responsible for monitoring the mathematician. Together, they begin to track down a plot with Edward at its heart.
Between science, plot, action, and suspense, Prime Target will put the episodic brain back into your episode, thanks in part to a performance by its lead actor Leo Woodall that you may have already seen anywhere.
Leo Woodall, one of the new talents to watch out for
Born in London in 1996, Leo Woodall has always had artistic fiber in his blood. Her father Andrew Woodall is an actor and her mother Jane Mary Ashton, who did not excel in her career, as the actress still took courses in dramatic arts.
She also counts among her ancestors Maxine Elliott, an American actress who was a silent star in the 1910s.

He made his first steps in the BBC soap opera Holby City and the Vampire Academy series. Then, Leo Woodall begins to take on more important roles in larger projects. Thus, the Russo Brothers (Avengers) make their film Cherry with Tom Holland.
But he especially saw his career take a new turn thanks to the new Lotus Season 2. Leo Woodall excelled as Jack alongside Tom Hollander. He later won a small role in the Citadel Action series on Prime Video, which is a real blockbuster and which offers him another exposure.
A career between romance and action
A huge success will come in 2024, one day with a mini-series based on the episodic novel by David Nichols, already adapted to the cinema in 2011, with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturges. In this new iteration, he plays Dexter Maywey, the main character who looks like Ambika Mod, who camps Emma Morley.

This romantic fantasy, which hit Netflix, allowed Leo Woodall to become world famous. Today, he is still the lead actor in the new Prime Target series on Apple TV+.
And he’s not going to stop there, because very soon you will see him in his first role on the big screen in the movie Bridget Jones: Crazy about it, the fourth part of the adventures of the famous character directed by RenĂ©e Zellweger, which is scheduled for 12 cinemas in February. Leo Woodall Camps Roxster, one of Bridget’s potential lovers there.
Leo Woodall already has other projects like James Vanderbilt’s historical film Nuremberg, in which he will share the poster with Rami Malek, Michael Shannon and Russell Crowe, but also with Daniel Rohrer in Thriller Tuner with Dustin Hoffman.
The first two episodes of “Prime Target” will be available on January 22, 2025 on Apple TV+, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until March 5.
