“Mercy for the immigrants who are separated from their children and arrive in chains in Brazil,” said the singer in the early hours of this Sunday, 26, during a performance at the Salvador Summer Festival, together with the band Timbalada.

Daniela also made the same request for trans women detained in the United States. A new Trump decree authorizes their placement in men’s cells.

“LGBT people are human. Respect us,” said Daniela, married to journalist Malu Verçosa.
