Pellegrini and Dovbyk commanded the breakthrough of the Giallloossi
Roma visited Udinese on Sunday (26) and needed two penalty goals to win the Bluenergy Stadium in a core for the 22nd round of Serie A in Italy.
In the first half, striker Lorenzo Lucca opened the scoring for the Bianconeri after taking advantage of a breeding ball inside the Roma area. Already in the final phase, two penalties converted by Lorenzo Pellegrini and Artem Dovbyk led the Giallloossa round.
The meeting in Udine was also marked by the automatic extension of the contract of Paulo Dybala, who will remain linked to the Italian capital club until June 2026.
Roma, trained by Claudio Ranieri, has reached 30 points and occupies ninth position, just four away from sixth placed Milan. Udinese, in turn, maintained their winless streak and appear in 11th with 26.
