42 years ago, one of Steven Spielberg’s most important works was released in the cinema. Contains the adventures of the slight extraordinary adventures of his family forgotten by his family on our planet, and he has conquered viewers around the world and has formed as one of the greatest commercial successes in history.
However, unlike other filmmaker triumphs (for example, Jurassic Park, Sea Teeth or Avanturists of Lost Arch), the era of a small alien land has never had a display of glory.
“I had no rights.”
And for good reason: As he recently revealed this on the day of the TCM classical film festival, where he was with actor Drew Barimor (who was playing in the film in the film), Steven Spielberg was brutally born so that no one was born. Fighting that afterwards better to ensure its rights:
“It was a victory in a high struggle because I had no rights”He explained during the master class.
“Before and, I had a few rights, but I didn’t have much. I didn’t have the power to make a studio not to continue, or to block the suit, remake or other use of the subject.
“I didn’t want to do it immediately.”
As he also told him until he had completely abandoned all this and the idea of fighting against this, Spielberg still took time to consider every opportunity:
“I didn’t want to do it right away. I had a little idea for a while, if I could see a little, I could and called Green Planet and which was completely on the planet and we could get the house and see how it lived.
As we have explained in the article last November, there is an unprecedented script project called “and II: fears of the night,” written by Steven Spielberg and Melissa Matison, and which is therefore never implemented. We will allow you to judge yourself, but given the elements discussed in the script, we say it is probably better.
