The news was given by BBC , who said Warner died yesterday at his nursing home from “cancer-related disease.” The network was alerted to the news, along with a press release issued by David Warner’s family, which reads:
For the past 18 months, he has approached his diagnosis with characteristic grace and dignity. We will be greatly missed by us, his family and friends of him, and will remember him as a kindhearted, generous and compassionate man, partner and father, whose legacy of overtime has touched the lives of so many over the years. We are heartbroken.
