71 -year -old Leader will fulfill his third term in mind
Single candidate for the presidency of the Italian football federation (FIGC), Gabriele Gravina was re -elected on Monday (3) to a third term in the entity leadership.
The 71 -year -old leader received 98.68% of the votes during the elective assembly organized in Rome.
“We must remain united to achieve all the objectives that football really needs. The meeting is a beginning, being together is progress and working together is a success,” said Braguine, citing the American writer Napoleon Hill.
International President Giuseppe “Beppe” Marotta said that Gravin’s re -election was important to “continue working” a few years ago. In addition to showing optimism, the leader added that the climate in the entity is “very positive”.
Already Aleksander Ceferin, president of UEFA, said that Italy is fulfilling its role very well, but has warned that it is still necessary to “improve” the infrastructures of the country’s stadiums.
Gravina has been responsible for the extent since 2018, having been reconfirmed in office in 2021. The last president to have been re -elected twice was Giancarlo Abete, between 2007 and 2013.
