Three senior members of the Portuguese far -right party have faced the accusations of committing a crime in the last two weeks, threatening the image of “Law and Order” which has helped the third largest force in Parliament.
The leader of the arrival, André Ventura, distanced himself from the three and promised zero tolerance with the crime in a party whose slogan is “clear in Portugal”.
But he also recognized: “It’s not a good time for the party”.
The arrival was the third largest force in the Parliament of the members of the NATO and European Union members and quadrupled his representation in the assembly in an election last March, when he won 50 of the 230 seats.

Since then, he has issued excuses for Facebook, saying that he was embarrassed and ready to face the consequences.
Public ministries also accused Nuno Pardal Ribeiro, vice -president of the arrival at the Lisbon district of consciously paying for a centuries -old oral sex, which was at 15 years old at the moment, a crime punishable with a maximum of five years of prison.
The prosecutor did not name him in a statement on Thursday, describing the accusations, but Pardal Ribeiro recognized the express and public newspapers that the declaration referred to him and denied that the teenager was less than 18 years old at the time of the meeting of 2023.
Reuters was unable to contact Pardal Ribeiro, who publicly supported a proposal from the arrival of the castration of pedophiles chemically, to comment.
