The screenplay was written by David Kaiganich, based on the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis.

There is something about disenfranchised people living on the margins of society that attracts and touches me,” said Guadagnino. – I love these characters. I’m interested in their emotional journeys. I want to see where the opportunities lie for them, as well as the limitations they face. This is a person’s reflection on who I am and how I can overcome what I feel, especially if it is something that I cannot control in myself.

For the new project, Chalamet partially dyed his hair pink. True, now the actor is already working on the second part of “Dune”, in which he will return to the previous shade of hair.
