Brutalist really “the godfather of our time”, as the criticism says?

Often overly used, the term “masterpiece” sometimes seems to lose its meaning. So when a bradalist -like film is covered by a Brutalist, praise from all sides, especially by critics, can we believe it?

After his presentation in Venice – where he was crowned in Lion d’Argent in September 2024 – this historical drama addresses viewers around the world and stands out as one of the great Oscar nominations.

Some professionals even go so far as to compare it to a movie classic, such as The Godfather, once in America and there will be blood.

Brutalist, what is exactly?

The film tells the story of more than thirty years, the fate of László Tóth (Adrien Brod). This Hungarian architect, who survived the destruction camp, is inhabited by the hope of starting a new life in America.
