Last night in New York hosted the premiere of the series “on the surface” (Surface). Reese Witherspoon worked on the psychological thriller with Apple Studios, and the actress herself acted as an executive producer. Starring Gugu Mbatha-Row, known for the projects “The Morning Show” and “Loki”.
For the photo call, 46-year-old Reese chose a milky white Schiaparelli sheath dress, white pointy pumps and a Tyler Ellis clutch. The actress was styled by Petra Flannery. The main actress of the project, 39-year-old Gugu Mbatha-Row, wore a light green dress with drapery.
According to the plot of the series, the main character Sophie tried to commit suicide, but survived. She has lost her memory and is trying to piece by piece restore the picture of the past. Listening to the stories of friends and her husband, the girl wonders: if her life was as perfect as she is told, why did she decide to commit suicide? Sophie begins to doubt that she is hearing the truth from her loved ones. Premiere – 29 July.
