In the country, they will have to remain for another 15 days in another detention center, according to the standard protocol in the event of a discussion of human beings, to confirm that in reality they are victims. The two managed to escape and were saved after more than three months in captivity. The rescue was supported by an international NGO specialized in such cases.

In November last year, Phelipe Ferreira was attracted to a job proposal in Thailand. The offer, released on a social network, has promised a place in a call center in Bangcoc, with a salary of $ 2,000 (about $ 11.5 thousand), as well as the commissions and the possibility to lead a team.

With the airline tickets paid by the alleged company, the Brazilian has undertaken Thailand. Initially, he remained in a hotel, but was soon kept in captivity by the criminal network.

Luckas, in turn, had work experience in casinos in the south -est Asia, where he served Brazilian customers. He had moved to Thailand in September in search of new professional opportunities. It was then that a job offer came from Telegram: it would have been hired as an interpreter for the Brazilians, with housing, a salary of $ 8,000 and a six -month contract.

The workplace would be Mae Sot, a Thai city on the border with Myanmar, six hours after the Bangcoc drive. As with Phelipe, a driver sent by the alleged company went to get Luckas in the middle of dawn. During the course, there were exchanges of vehicles and the Brazilian ran even part of the boat path, crossing the border.

Since then, their families have made appeals on social networks to obtain the release of young people, fearing for their safety. They lived a routine marked with attacks, threats and abuses and are subject to about 17 hours of forced work, forced to apply virtual blows.
