Kevin Feige talks about the post-credits scenes and how they relate to the future of the MCU

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige commented on Marvel’s latest post-credits scenes and how they could pave the way for more projects.

With Marvel Studios known for their use of post-credits scenes to create a foundation for the future and pave the way for more stories, Kevin Feige spoke on the matter in relation to more recent scenes. When it comes to Phase 4, the post-credits scenes have already served to introduce Harry Styles’ eros and Charlize Theron’s Clea, and also to set the stage for the movie “Thunderbolts”.

“The truth is that not everything [as cenas pós-créditos] they’re only about the future, ”Feige said comicbook.com. “Has [cenas] they’re eating shawarma, Captain America saying you know you have to learn patience, sometimes, you know, you wait for something that’s not worth it. So they are always fun for us. We don’t want everything to look the same. So some will be linked and some will not. “

Two new Avengers movies were announced during San Diego Comic-Con 2022, both of which hit theaters in the same year. Additionally, Kevin Feige announced that the current MCU story arc is within the so-called Multiverse Saga. You can also check out all of Marvel’s announcements at SDCC 2022 here.

“Some of the movies and series will connect; some of them don’t, ”Feige continued. “I think it’s so important that we can have standalone introductory stories like ‘Ms. Marvel ‘, like’ Moon Knight ‘, plus things that interconnect and build a larger story, ”she continued.

“A lot of what we’ve done has been integrated into this larger story, obviously with ‘The Kang Dynasty’ and the Multiverse Saga, and now I think people are hoping to join in the journey. Both when you’re on the express train to the finale and when it’s fun, as many of our Phase 1, 2 and 3 films have been, ”concluded Kevin Feige.

Marvel’s next release is She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes, coming to Disney + on August 17th.
