Entitled The Immortal Manmovie that continues the series Peaky blinders will not “disappoint” fans, according to Steven Knightcreator and director of the acclaimed franchise.

During interview with BBC BREAKFAST (via NME), Knight He revealed how the film’s filming completed in December 2024. So he took the opportunity to reveal what the public can expect from the new entrance of the franchise.

“I would say that, it’s not, but it’s fantastic,” he said. “I think we have the best British actors in one place. The things I’m watching, the scenes of Rush, the montages, no one will be disappointed. It’s amazing. It’s a very suitable way to finish this part of the story.”

The franchise movie will feature the return of Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelbybesides a starry cast that includes Barry Keoghan (Saltburn, Eternal), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible, Dune), TIM ROTH (Rental dogs, The Eight Hold) and Stephen Graham (The chef). They are also confirmed Sophie Rundle, NED DENNEHY, Packy Lee, Ian Peck and Jay Lycurgo.

Filming has already been completed, and production is still in the post-production phase. According to Knight, the feature will maintain the tone of the series, exploring new stories within the universe of Peaky blinders.

The Peaky Blinders series debuted in 2013 and had six seasons, coming to an end in 2022. Created by Steven Knightthe production won several awards, including the Baftaand became a cultural phenomenon.

The original series Peaky blinders follow available in Netflixwhile the movie has no confirmed release date yet.
