Wednesday 27 July Tomorrow belongs to us…
The day after his arrest, Paul is questioned by the police and denies any involvement in the tragic events that took place at the manure farm in recent days. He said it was just a coincidence that his horseshoe ended up in the shooting range. What’s more, the stable manager specifies that he absolutely does not blame Samuel for inheriting the collar farm instead. He claims that he is very happy for her.
Moments later, Damien interrupts them to deliver the analysis report to Martin. Since no traces of powder were found on Paul, he was released. However, Martin is convinced that he is hiding something and is not going to let it go.
Meanwhile, Victoire and Samuel are having breakfast when a panicked Anne-Marie joins them. Indeed, Victoire’s grandmother could hear voices in the garden calling her name. When everyone has experienced a shocking event, a young woman tries to understand that she is in full post-traumatic stress and that she was probably the victim of an auditory hallucination. To reassure her, Victoire therefore schedules an MRI for the afternoon to check that everything is fine.
Afterward, Victoire and Samuel head to the police station to find out a little more about the ongoing investigation. Georges then informs them that they are seriously suspecting Paul. Although surprised at first, Samuel eventually takes an interest in her and remembers that she wasn’t even out of breath when she joined them after the shooting. However, George depresses and points out that they have nothing specific against him. The policeman added that at this stage of the investigation, the most important thing is to pay attention to yourself.
Back at the base, Samuel confronts Paul fiercely. Although the latter claims his innocence, the doctor refuses to believe him. Enraged, Samuel grabs him by the collar and then calls him to tell him the truth. After being released, Paul returns to work.
At the hospital, Victoire is upset and confides in Benjamin. Indeed, he is afraid that Samuel will do something stupid because the police suspect Paul. But for Benjamin, a stable manager is harmless. When Victoire tells her she has no alibi for the shooting, she claims she met Paul at the farm moments before the incident. Therefore, it is impossible for him to reach the shooting site in less than five minutes.
Without waiting, Victoire returns to tell everything to Samuel, who blames himself for the stroke and for not giving Paul the benefit of the doubt. After all that had happened, Samuel was tired of not understanding anything and being constantly on the alert. Now that Paul is freed, the police can now focus on other targets.
At the same time, Damien managed to reconstruct the shooter’s probable route. Samuel and his friends were two kilometers from the farm, a ten-minute walk. According to him, Benjamin’s testimony does not completely clear Paul. If the window is tight, don’t forget that Paul is an experienced rider. Therefore, he could reach the shooting range in time. However, Commander Constant points out that these are just speculations and fears that they focused on him a little too quickly.
Meanwhile, Georges continued to research Diane and found no movement on her bank account since May 2012, the period when Diane disappeared but also the period when Solange disinherited her brother in favor of her nephew. In turn, 15 days before her disappearance, Diane received a transfer of 15,000 euros from Renault…
In turn, Reno leaves a message on her son’s answering machine: ” I know you don’t want to give in to fear, but please listen to me just once. I beg you, get rid of this dirt. “. After he hangs up, Reno stares at the family photo until he destroys it.
At the hospital, Nicholas, the new nurse, and Benjamin discuss life as a couple. Nicholas, on the other hand, admires people who can stay with the same person for years, something he never imagined. Benjamin thinks he’s saying this because he hasn’t met the right person. Despite everything, Nicholas continues, saying he doesn’t want to become an old couple with nothing more to say to each other once the kids are out of the nest. Irritated to hear this, William regrets getting up so early to listen to such nonsense, especially since he hates shortcuts in love.
Disturbed by this discussion, William decides to put some salt in the couple. So he goes to the police station to surprise his wife and invite her for lunch at the hut. Unfortunately, Avore had already bought a sandwich. However, the policewoman is surprised by her husband’s romantic side, because the last time he unexpectedly proposed to her was in 2015.
Back at the hospital, William confides in Benjamin, who believes that after so many years together, it’s important to keep the flame alive. However, with his wife’s strong personality, William knows that it is not easy. Even if it’s not always easy with her, one thing is for sure, William doesn’t want to lose her. So Benjamin orders him to do everything he can to keep her.
On her advice, William returns home and prepares a romantic dinner for Auror. Although she appreciates that he has pulled out all the stops, she still gets the impression that her husband is afraid that she will divorce him or worse, that he will cheat on her. William then realizes that Benedict’s adventure has him a little worried. Now that their daughters are grown, she fears they will become a couple again. For the Aurors, this is normal and promises to find their rhythm. And the policeman specified that as long as he continued to laugh at her, nothing would happen to the couple.
Chloe, Judith and Mariana make the most of their stay at the spa. After the pool, Chloe decides to sit on a deck chair to read a book, when a beautiful stranger she’s seen comes in to check on her to make sure everything’s going to be okay. The latter then compliments her on her choice of reading, which makes her uncomfortable because it is an erotic book by Diderot.
A few hours later, Chloe goes to a massage session and is taken care of by a certain Darius, who is none other than the stranger she keeps meeting. Chloe is definitely tense. To prevent her from getting the wrong ideas, Judith’s mother explains that the book was not hers. Darius then admits that he told her that he made a very good choice out of courtesy. After that, he asks her about the woman with the amazing look. Indeed, Darius has fallen in love with Marianne and is trying to learn more about her. Although Darius hoped she liked the massage, Chloe replies that Marian doesn’t like it at all.
Later, Chloe tells her mother that Darius had a phenomenal crush on her. It was enough to tempt Dr. Delcourt with a massage.
