“Cruel violation” of the agreement
The Israeli forces have said that the situation represents “a violation of greater gravity by the Hamas terrorist organization, which is forced by the agreement to return four deceased hostages”. “We ask that Hamas returns to Casa Shiri together with all our hostages,” said the IDF.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hamas of having committed a “cruel violation” of ceased fire by not restoring Shiri’s body. “We will act with the determination to bring Shiri home, as well as all our hostages – The Living and the Dead – and we will make sure that Hamas pays the price for this cruel and evil violation of the agreement,” said the Prime Minister, in A Video declaration.
In addition to the members of the Bibas family, the 83 -year -old Oeded Lifshitz body when Hamas was kidnapped in the terrorist attack on October 7, 2023 in Israel, was delivered on Thursday. In the case of Lifshitz, the family confirmed that the remains were really him.
