Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Sunday that he is willing to give up his position if this means peace in Ukraine, saying that he could exchange his departure through the entry of Ukraine into NATO.
Zelenskiy also claimed to want to see the President of the United States Donald Trump as a Ukrainian partner and more than a simple mediator between Kiev and Moscow.
“I really want it to be more than simple mediation … it is not enough,” he said in a press conference in Kiev.
