Impractical Jokers’ Brian Quinn feels all love for Dr. Shark after nearly losing his hand

Spoiler ahead for Jokers Impassable Shark Week Show in Shark Week 2022.

shark week is underway on Discovery, and while fans wait for crazy stories about it serial killer sharks and celebrity appearances, I’m not sure anyone could have guessed what was going on with the latest stupid crossover. Jokers Impassable Shark Week Show It was perhaps the greatest climax of laughter, jokes, and sharks in human history, and it was also perhaps a little more dangerous than it seemed. After the special Brian “Q” Quinn he had all the love in the world for the shark expert who apparently saved him from losing a hand.

First news of what happened appeared on Twitter when Q called the expert for the special, Dr. Craig O’Connell. Q showed some love for O’Connell (whose Twitter account is @TheSharkDoctor) and the doctor, hilariously, was not humble in accepting it:

Now, it is not surprising to know that there was an element of danger during Jokers Impassable Shark Week Show with sharks in the mix, but hearing that Brian Quinn may have lost an appendage on his scuba excursion is pretty intense. Still, Q confirmed that this was indeed the case, and that the hilarious special could have been ruined if the good doctor hadn’t been there:

Certainly. This shark almost ripped off my hand. #Shark week

The moment may have happened when Brian Quinn dived with Dr. Craig O’Connell and was hit by a shark. After the blow, Q began waving his arms in an awkward gesture at the camera. Just then, a shark approached Q from behind, but Dr. O’Connell knocked him over and hit his muzzle. Soon after, he asked Q to keep his hands close to his body, possibly because his hand movements were drawing the shark towards him.

Fortunately, everyone exited the game smoothly, including Vulcan salt, who faced his fear of sharks. The courage of Vulcan, as well as James MurrayEfforts (by Murr) to decipher dolphin language resulted in a comedian special that also seemed educational. Brian Quinn praised Dr. Craig O’Connell for following the lines and taking the jokes as they showed up:

Is this the beginning of a great collaboration? Obviously the impractical pranksters they are still working to fill Joe Gatto’s shoes after he left the show, and they have guest stars like Eric Andre to fill the void and even comedians like David Cross who hate jokes . Fans have suggested bringing Dr. O’Connell back as a guest star on the TruTV series, and Brian Quinn hasn’t objected:

I look forward to any future collaboration between Dr. O’Connell and the impractical pranksters crew. Given the number of guests they get on the joke show, I think we’ll see it again. If they can justify having a professional wrestler on the show I feel like a shark expert wouldn’t be too hard to find for an episode, especially if they are doing something by the sea. We’ll just have to wait and see, and be thankful that Q has all of his body parts after swimming with the sharks.

Shark Week continues to swim on Discovery, with new specials starting every night at 8pm ET. After Saturday, be sure to check the new shows to see what’s coming to TV in the coming weeks as we get closer and closer to the fall season.
