“I am afraid but I am very excited”: Discover who will play Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series

After appearing, many have surprised who will play the lead roles in the Harry Potter series. The new adaptation of JK Rowling novels will be available for seven seasons, one saga for each tribe and already portrays an even more loyal version than in the film books.

Three main characters – Harry Potter, Hermione Granjer and Ron Wesley – are currently underway – and all British and Irish children are probably one of the roles. For other characters, more proven actors are looking for. After a few months of speculation, Professor Dumbledore’s translator was finally confirmed!

American actress will play Dumbledore!

In the interview ScreenJohn Litgov has shown that he will really give his qualities to the principal of the Hogwarts Master School. A choice that was not easy for a 79 -year -old American actor who is especially known for his roles on the planet of monkeys: Origins, Interstellar or the series dexter and crown.

“It wasn’t easy to make decisions because it defines the last chapter of my life. It’s afraid. But I’m also too excited” He told our colleagues. “I have 87 when we finish shooting, but I said yes.”

Keep in mind that John Litgow is not the first choice of production. The role of Dumbledore was originally proposed for Rillens Marking, but the latter finally decided to leave the project for personal reasons.
