A More Beautiful Life: Myrta receives terrible news

Warning, this article contains many spoilers for the next episodes of Plus belle la vie. If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read!

Even if the end of Plus belle la vie is fast approaching, the writers have no intention of leaving the residents of Mistral alone. And it’s not Mirta (Sylvie Flap) who says otherwise. After being forced to sell her hotel due to a fire last November, Luna’s mother has to face news that will turn her life upside down.

In this Thursday, July 28 episode, Mirta does indeed notice a small ball under her arm. Concerned, he consults Dr. Riva (Joakim Latzko) as quickly as possible to find out if it is just a tumor or something much worse. Gabriel then sends her for further tests, but she wants to be reassuring: cysts are generally benign.

Unfortunately, the results confirm what she feared: it is breast cancer. Shocked, Mirta decides to hide her illness from Luna and her loved ones. But while wandering around Marseille, he comes across a church and decides to go inside.

He then goes to the confessional, where there is priest Luke, who is as lost as he is. He begins to question his faith in the face of the horrors of life. Very quickly, a special relationship develops between the two, and Luke becomes Mirta’s only confidante, who continues to hide her cancer from those closest to her. And even if she never saw him in person, Luna’s mother would quickly fall under the priest’s spell.

Is it possible to have a relationship between them? How will Mirta’s relatives react when they learn about her illness? The answer in the next episodes of Plus belle la vie, available in previews on Salto.
