With strong chances of Brazil to win its first gold statuette, the 97th Oscar awards ceremony takes place this Sunday, March 2. In 2025, I’m still here, Walter Salles (Central do Brasil), can win in one or more of the three categories in which it was nominated: best film, main honor, best international film and best actress for FERNANDA TORRES (Tapas & Kisses).

In Brazil, the award will be displayed by TNT and Max from 21h (Brasília time), with presentation of ANA FURTADOwho assumes the post for the third consecutive year. In addition, Globo, which has given up the Oscar’s exhibition rights a few years ago, confirmed that it will transmit this year’s ceremony, due to indications of I’m still hereon open TV.
